RETURNS & WARRANTY
At Mercuri Jewellery, we want you to absolutely love your new pieces. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help.
Please note we don’t currently offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, simply return your piece for a store credit and place a new order.
If you would like to start a return, please review the below policy and email us at hello@mercurijewellery.co.nz with your order number and photos.
RETURNS
- We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, all returns are subject to approval before sending back to us for a store credit. Please do not send unapproved returns - this does not guarantee a store credit.
- Items must be unworn, unused, not damaged, in their original condition and packaging.
- For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings unless faulty.
- We’re happy to offer a store credit for the return, however it is the customer’s responsibility to cover the return shipping cost and provide us with a tracking number as proof of return.
- Once the return is successful, a store credit will be issued within 1-2 business days through email.
FAULTY / DAMAGED ITEMS ON ARRIVAL
We take great care in quality checking every piece. If your jewellery arrives damaged / faulty, please contact us immediately within 3 days of delivery.
- Once the damaged / faulty return is approved, we will arrange a replacement for you.
- We will only issue a refund if we cannot provide a replacement.
WARRANTY POLICY
Mercuri Jewellery provides a limited warranty of 100 days from the date of purchase. This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including:
- Faulty clasps or closures
- Loose settings
- Chain or link defects attributable to production error
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches or plating fade/loss of colour over time
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, or improper care (including exposure to chemicals, perfumes, or moisture beyond normal wear)
- Alterations, modifications, or repairs performed by a third party
- Loss, theft, or damage not resulting from a manufacturing fault
At our discretion, Mercuri Jewellery will:
- Repair the item
- Replace the item with the same or comparable product, or
- Issue store credit equivalent to the purchase price of the defective item
If the identical product is unavailable, a comparable item of equal value may be offered.
Warranty Claims
To initiate a warranty claim, please email us at hello@mercurijewellery.co.nz providing proof of purchase, photographs of the item, and a written description of the fault. Items must be returned for inspection before any remedy is granted.
Mercuri Jewellery reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether the claim is valid under this warranty.
